I used to like the section where they recreated the crafts or foods of the time. It added an extra dimension.<br />ArilxArilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07447764056767139963noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4459096535013512763.post-76264186617132683212017-03-11T18:08:51.397+00:002017-03-11T18:08:51.397+00:00I used to love the drawings done by Victor Ambrus ...I used to love the drawings done by Victor Ambrus too - I have a novel he illustrated called "Slave of the Huns" (Must reread it!) and I love his pen-and-ink work. When I was teaching 20 years back my colleague & I were real TT fans. We invited Tony Robinson to come & speak to our Yr 5s - he never answered. I love Time Team but can see why the specialists are not keen, having worked in the veterinary business I am often annoyed by the current rash of vet programmes and my youngest son who works part time at a classic car restoration garage say the staff there say that the classic car make-over programmes have raised the expectation of car owners wanting their precious cars to be done in a two week turn over - apparently in the trade this is virtually impossible without short cuts and non-spec items being used! Still, I do love Time Team :)kjsutcliffehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02064786032612487652noreply@blogger.com
