I used to be involved in maggot therapy when I was an occupational therapist on a ward for amputees. They were used when wounds were not healing properly. About fifty maggots were placed under a dressing. Think this was a conversation between my Father and his Mother...considering I had elderly parents and Dad was one of eight and at the younger end of the brood this is going some...Gran trained as a nurse but died in the 1970's in her 90's...how I wish I had had the chance to get to know her better...she still cooked on her range and they tended a steep garden...no toilet...can't remember about running water but certainly none hot...no bath as we know it...I hope to find her in heaven one day. xWinters End Ramblerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17924495691256051693noreply@blogger.com
