The Monday After

Today is the first Monday we've had off since David completed his latest round of treatment. The upshot of this is once he's had his hospital apppointment he has to stay at home until Monday evening and Tuesday he remains very weary. Every time we finish a cycle (thanks to our incredible NHS) I make sure that we've got something pleasant to do on the first free Monday after. Today we have gone to see what's happening in the borders at Nymans. Whilst there are several plants looking parched and going to seed it turns out there's still oodles to be enjoyed.

Lots I haven't seen before and am now on the hunt for a blue salvia to add to our collection inspired by our visit today.

  1. sun drenched summer colours. Kew has a most excellent blue salvia garden too.

  2. Nymans is looking a lot more colourful than my parched garden. Going out to see something so beautiful must be very uplifting for both of you and something to look forward to during the recovery period after treatment.
