One slice or two?

These radishes are the first pick of the growing season. It's hard to tell from the photo, but Mr GBT has inadvertently grown ones that are 2" across. It wasn't his intention to grow monster veg, but he missed these ones in the middle of the row because he's been concentrating on the ones at the end which are undersized.

We enjoyed one of the white ones sliced up....they're deceptive little beggars and lull you into a false sense of security.  In that first bite you just get a normal level of radish taste and then from the second bite onwards it's like a fiery, peppery explosion. It certainly gave my taste buds a rigorous tickling!!
