Reasons to be cheerful part 1

Normally I don't "do" houseplants....I am that woman who managed to kill off an aloevera which is quite a feat I understand. It was with some trepidation that I brought home this orchid from a very kind client. My instinct was to find it a new owner as quickly as possible so that at least it would have a chance at surviving, but Mr GBT talked me out of it. I'm glad he did for as you see it has rewarded me with a cascade of beautiful white flowers.
Hope everyone has a good weekend.

  1. I'm absolutely useless with aloe vera and cacti so I think them being easy to care for is a myth! That's a wonderful gift, how lovely to be appreciated.xxx

    1. If it starts to feel like too much of a responsibility I'll give it to my parents as they've already got several orchids. Arilx

  4. WOW! That is amazing!!! I've never seen an orchid with so many flowers. (PS: You KILLED an aloe vera??!!! I've just turned one plant into 3 pots and I gave half of them away on top of all of it. The original plant had over grown the pot so much it was unbalanced and tipping over.)
