Tiptoe Through The Tulips

I thought I'd missed the tulips this year. We can't grow them here as we're on clay and the bulbs disappear into a soggy mess after the first year of flowering sadly never to be seen again. It was therefore with a glad heart that we happened upon this lovely lot at Biddulph Grange last week. We both said that the colours put us in mind of sweeties....the yellow and white striped ones are like humbugs!

    1. I spend my life admiring tulips elsewhere as I can't grow them too.

    1. They're very uplifting aren't they. I really like the black and dark purple ones too. It all depends on my mood.
