The one that got away!

Erm I appear to have had a mad five and found this lurking in my draft box. I thought I had published this post, but obviously I didn't so better late than never eh!

Spring is creeping in quietly, but I'm a dame who doesn't do well on prolonged bouts of grey so without further ado I think it's time for a big old blast of colour. Seen in Liverpool a few weeks ago the stunning Metropolitan cathedral or Paddy's Wigwam as it's known locally!

  1. I went there once on a school trip. Have to admit as a twelve year old never took much notice at the time, but would love to go back one day

    1. It's well worth a visit...almost like a piece of modern art.

  2. I blogged about The Met last year as we trade in Lutyen's Crypt a couple of times a year! isn't it incredible? I'm a raving atheist but one can't help but marvel over man's creativity when you visit a place like that! xxx

    1. Lutyen's crypt was extraordinary...it really is two totally different buildings welded together.

    1. It is. Not a million miles away from the style of Coventry Cathedral.
