Supermoon.


So tonight is the supermoon and it is gloriously covered in cloud. Apparently if you carry a hazel twig and eat a fern seed collected tomorrow night ie the first night after the full moon you will become invisible. Or so the Medieval folklore story goes......

  3. A very brief glimpse here around 10.00 when the clouds briefly parted. I gave the hazel twig and fern seed a miss, hope that's OK :) We regularly see fabulous full moons rising above the hill line so in truth, this one was nothing out of the ordinary.

    1. Thanks for the link Jayne. Mr GBT and I were discussing just how much bigger the moon would look had we been able to see it. We had reached a similar conclusion.

  4. We had a glorious view of rain, rain, rain. Humphff. So have had to contend ourselves with looking at other's photos :)
