Supermoon.

So tonight is the supermoon and it is gloriously covered in cloud. Apparently if you carry a hazel twig and eat a fern seed collected tomorrow night ie the first night after the full moon you will become invisible. Or so the Medieval folklore story goes......

  3. A very brief glimpse here around 10.00 when the clouds briefly parted. I gave the hazel twig and fern seed a miss, hope that's OK :) We regularly see fabulous full moons rising above the hill line so in truth, this one was nothing out of the ordinary.

  5. Here in Wales we - naturally - had 10/10 cloud cover too. Sigh. It was ever thus.
