After much official dithering I have finally spent the theatre voucher I've had for a couple of years. Having explained to Mr GBT that I had booked tickets for the circus he raised an eyebrow and asked it if was going to be "a bit like Cirque du Soleil?" "Sort of " if you add in a dash of burlesque, a sprinkle of Victorian freakshow and a good glug of Rocky Horror Picture Show then perhaps you'd be a bit closer to the mark.
We're off to be entertained by the Circus of Horrors in a few weeks time.
