Twelfth Night Lights

It being the last night of the festive season and all that, please indulge me with a couple more shots to wind it all up for this year.

The first one is of the marvellous recycled bottle tree- I went back to see it all illuminated at night and it looks really effective I think.

As the second one is of the Nativity Scene outside the RC church. The "imposter " lurking at the back just made me smile, although I guess that there's an argument to say that just because the polar bear wasn't mentioned originally it didn't say he wasn't there either. Aww

  1. I love that recycled tree. I'd never generate enough wine bottles to make it. Or would I?!!!! x

  3. So now I truly have to take tree down. Just lights were left and all other Christmas packed up. What are some things to be inspired about in January with all the lights dark?

  4. A couple of online friends are keeping up a string of non Christmas fairy lights. The Danish hygge is a good one...roaring fire and lots of candles.

  5. We keep lights up - all year round, even in summer there are evenings when a little light goes a long way to life the mood. The polar bear is a rather sweet addition to the scene.

  6. Our tree, and other stuff, was taken down yesterday. We've had the tree in situ since November 25th, when we had a veggie Christmas for our youngest son and his family before they left for Oz to escape the European winter. I feel as if our sitting room is ours again.
