DeleteMy friedn who used to teach 5th grade in an elementary school before the schools redistributed grades, used to get donated old pianos andhad his class strip and decorate a piana each year. They were always hihgly sought after (needed a lot of tuning). These remind me of his kids efforts. Sadly, my daughter didn't get to attend 5th grade there as she was the first 5th grade class moved ot the middle school.
ReplyDeleteI bet the pianos looked wonderful! Arilx
DeleteWhat wonderful murals! As a child growing up in the 50s I admired a family who brought California living to our rural Midwestern community. Not only did the mother work and the dog go inside the house, but also the father cooked and painted murals on their patio fencing. Tiki-island themed, and painted side away from the street, but still...!
ReplyDeleteThey were so bright and breezy...we need colour at the moment! Arilx
DeleteWe certainly need more murals around! Especially such cheerful bright ones like these :)
