Roses Are Red.....

Indeed they are....


Thankfully for us rose lovers they come in many more hues too and June is the month to see them in their prime. I've discovered today that the gardens [or at least some of them] at Hampton Court Palace are free entry so Arty L and I had a glorious few minutes wandering around enjoying the colours and the perfume before the heavens opened. Such a treat on a British Summer's day of sandals and brollies!

  1. I love Roses, but for some reason they don't love me. I haven't a single one in my garden; they all die. There is one that is named after an ancestor (Lady Banks) which I'd love to have; my father had one that he'd dig up every time he moved house.
