ReplyDeleteI think you are right. The interior of my house is very me, but I haven't been quite so brave on the front of the house. I do have a pillar box red front door though which is absolutely my taste. Arilx
DeleteThat is really good. I like 'shed of the year' competition entries for the same reason - that people express in their sheds things that they feel they can't or shouldn't do on their house. I saw a house in Lincolnshire once with teapots hung all over the outside.
ReplyDeleteI would have loved to see the house with the teapots. When we were in lockdown last year I was able to notice some of the personal details on the houses near me. One had a fabulous spider and web door knocker. Arilx
