Mesmerizing

This short little film has a slightly trippy, kaleidoscopic feel to it. Who knew there was such beauty to be had simply viewing wood being sawn up. Hope everyone has a good weekend...I am going to be working along side Mr GBT, so had best behave!

  1. I love the knots in wood!.A lot of my furniture is really old stuff, and when ive sanded it down in the past to paint..I often leave it just as it is cause it is such a shame to cover the beautiful knots that appear!.Ive got a basket in my kitchen that is full of bits of wood, bark and twigs that i picked up when an old tree was cut down a few streets away.It doubles up as a Christmas feature, when i add holly, gold vintage baubles and slices of baked orange. The orange,i found in the street in Brighton 5 years ago, lol.Debi,xx

    1. Married to a miniature furniture maker I am surrounded by it. I have my own special collection of sticks in the corner of my hallway.

    1. I could pretend to be ever so clever and say I found it myself, but it came up on my Facebook feed. Sometimes I stumble across things when looking for something completely different. The signs etc outside pubs etc are the ones I spot.

Ta-dah!

My new dancing mask has been finished for a good six weeks or so, but in classic Mythago tradition this is the first time I've been out...
