It's not every Saturday morning that the doorbell goes and my parents are on the doorstep...smiling they hand me an unexpected parcel and then head off without explanation.
A very beautiful hare pewter mirror no less made by Archive Crafts. I am absolutely delighted and it's already been found a special place to be displayed on the walls of GBT.
What a beautiful and thoughtful gift. How kind of your parents to deliver this to the door.
The craftsmanship looks excellent and, overall, it has an Art Nouveau appearance which we love. We are certain that you will find a very special place to display this most charming mirror and will surely smile in it every time you look.
I have placed it as part of a group at the bottom of our stairs. ArilxDelete

I was delighted. ArilxDelete
Not surprised you are delighted with it - I would be too!ReplyDelete
I though you might like it too Kate. ArilxDelete
Oh my goodness, but that is lovely. They must have seen it and thought of you right away!ReplyDelete
That was indeed their reaction. I am very fortunate. ArilxDelete
How beautiful and what a lovely surpriseReplyDelete
The loveliest surprises are the ones which are an absolutely ordinary day. ArilxDelete
It's you, Aril, and it's exquisite! One suspects the parents are as pleased by the giving as you by the receiving.ReplyDelete
It is absolutely my taste. ArilxDelete
They know you so well! xReplyDelete
Yes they're usually spot on and I've got quite an eclectic taste so am not always easy to choose for. ArilxDelete
