Password Woes

Whilst I understand the need for privacy and personal protection in these days of online pilfering and id fraud the need to set up so many passwords for everything proves a tad frustrating for a bear of little brain like me. I'm fine with the sites I regularly use and have them dutifully recorded for later retrieval and use. However, its the sites I only use once in a blue moon which drive me to distraction. This week I have started a new Future Learn course but inevitably the password I thought was the right one eluded me....this must have happened last time and I had changed it but to what? Heaven only knows...that's long since been lost in the mists of time. When asked to come up with a new one my mind went completely blank...in the end I put in the first thing that popped into my head. The only thing I can be sure of is that if I ever do another course I shall have to go through the same rigmarole again as there's not a cat in hell's chance of me remembering it....coming across this particularly apt piece in a magazine the very next day it tickled my funny bone!

  3. Hey Aril ~

I use 1Password (app) and have done for years. It's fab although not free and syncs perfectly across all sorts of gadgets. Will even create passwords in all sorts of combinations if you want it to. There is a 30 day free trial if you want to have a look. :)
