So true!

"Our culture has accepted two huge lies. The first is that if you disagree with someone's lifestyle, you must fear or hate them. The second is that to love someone means that you agree with everything that they believe or do. Both are nonsense.

You don't have to comprise convictions to be compassionate."

  1. Hi, Very true. My best friend, possibly to our mutual astonishment sometimes, is a fundamentalist evangelical Christian. My ideas are VERY different to that indeed. We just tend to avoid that topic of conversation LOL. I thoroughly disagree with people having more than 2 children in this overcrowded world of ours, but I can get on as people with those who have several.

    So....yep...I agree with that.

  2. I enjoy hearing other people's viewpoints on things- sometimes it gives me a new perspective but there are definitely some things on which I have agreed to disagree to avoid further conflict!

No jacket required.

Maybe no jacket required, but most definitely jacket needed when spotted for a fiver in the charity shop last week. I must remember never to...
