I'm talking of the feline variety here. Humphrey is a very affectionate soul but he gets really offended if I have the audacity to do something that doesn't involve him when he thinks I should be paying him my full attention. He employs a number of distraction techniques- this morning he tried chewing the end of the pen on several occasions and batting it away, putting his chin on top of the Wordsearch book and pulling it down, headbutting my elbow and eventually drawing my arm down with his paw. Desperate times call for desperate measures and this is his final solution. He's still there in the same position now.
