Zero Waste Week.
Usually any trends in the blogging world pass me by but on this occasion I am going to join in as waste and rubbish is my personal bugbear. So for me it's making sure no food gets wasted this week. I've started by insisting that Mr GBT has the leftover whipped cream in his coffee and Humphrey has been forced to lick the bowl. Both are now in separate corners sulking.....they hate it when I give them jobs to do!

I was supposed to make a big fish pie for tea tonight - some to eat today and some for the freezer. It didn't pan out. Both me and the boy collapsed in jet lagged heaps as soon as we got home. In motorhome this would have been disasterous as fish would have gone off and would have to have been thrown away. Here, I've just popped it in the freezer and we'll have the meal another week. Had forgotten just how handy those things are! x
